The Design Management Consultancy (DMC) believes that the concept of ‘consent’ must be given freely, be specific and informed. To be valid, consent must be freely given, specific and informed. We will ensure that online consent given will involve some form of positive action, for example, by ticking a box or clicking a link to ensure that the person will fully understand that they are giving you consent. We have a policy regarding the storage of personal data and how we process. We intend to keep the email address data secure, with care taken by how it is updated, and how users can correct the information we hold.

Our retention policy is related to how long we need to keep the data, and what the purpose is of retaining that data, and ensure a legitimate business interest will inform the retention policy.


As a customer we will ask you for various types of permission in order to become registered customer with an account, and to allow us send you information about your account and also notifications related to our services. In terms of communication we will provide separate opt-in preferences for email, post, phone and SMS. Our users should be able to provide separate consent for different types of processing.
